Trinidad & Tobago finished in sixth place

 

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, June 8, 2007.- Trinidad & Tobago avenged the loss suffered during the Pool B play by defeating Panama in straight sets and finishing in the sixth position at the Men’s Volleyball Pan American Cup.

 

The Trinidadians only needed 68 minutes to win by scores of 25-20, 26-24, 25-17.

 

Marc Honore recorded 14 points and Nolan Tash and Jessel Davis each scored 11 tallies. Jose Cunningham led Panama with 9 points.

 

Davis was particularly effective in the offense, with 8 positive attacks in only 10 chances while Honore contributed 5 bocks to the 11-5 Trinidadian advantage in that category.
